FAQ About After School Camp
How does the sign in/ out process work?
We have an electronic iPad system for signing kids into and out of camp, which will make the sign in process smoother and safer for all our campers. Children can be dropped off anytime after school is released. We do have pick-up programs at Roy Cloud, North Star, and Orion.
Sign-In: If your child attends one of the schools listed above, we will pick them up from their school, drive them to PCC SACC, sign them into After School Camp. If you are dropping off a child at PCC SACC sign in will be out on the lawn or in the gym if it's raining from 2:25 pm to 3:15 pm.
3:20 pm-5:00 pm: Sign In/Out is in the PCC SACC Office. Please be sure you come to the office, so we can properly sign out your child. Then someone in the office will give you a card to bring to the counselor who is with your child.
5:00 - 6:00 pm -Sign out is in Room 104 or the playground right outside of Room 104 for
Olders (3rd grade and up) and the patio in front of Room 15 or Room 15 for
Youngers (2nd grade and younger). Follow the Sign Out flags! Reminder to parents to ALWAYS park on the PCC SACC Office side parking lot!
*Please bring photo I.D. and make sure your child's approved pick up list is up to date. Photo identification is required to match the pick-up information.
*We do our best to ensure the Sign Out sheets are in their stated location at the time listed above. Due to the size of our campus times may vary about 5 minutes. Your patience is appreciated.
Is financial assistance available?
We aim to keep PCC SACC Program's pricing as competitive as we can. Also, PCC does offer a limited number of scholarships per year. Please email email@example.com for more information on how to apply.
What are the behavior expectations?
It is our expectation that campers will behave well. Being respectful, appropriate interactions and learning self-control is part of a process. At PCC SACC Swim & Gym, we work to promote positive, healthy relationships with self and others. Please discuss our expectations with your child and have them sign below – acknowledging that they know what is expected and will try to do it.
Our staff will work with parents to develop an action plan to reduce or eliminate unhealthy behavior. If the action plan does not produce the desired results, a conference will be requested with parents and other staff members to determine next steps. PCC SACC Swim & Gym does reserve the right to terminate a camper’s enrollment in the program if there is an inability to resolve problematic behaviors.
UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIORS INCLUDE:
1) Defying authority or deliberately disrupting the group
2) Assaulting another person by a verbal or physical threat or action
fighting or wrestling
3) Stealing the property of another person or of PCC
4)deliberately destroying or damaging the property of another person or of PCC
5) Possessing firearms, knives or any other dangerous object which could cause injury to any person
6) Harassing, bullying or intimidating any camper or staff members in any way
use of inappropriate or “foul” language
